DIY Pull-up bar recommendations for doorframe?

Looking to get a doorframe pull-up bar for my apartment. There are so many options and I'm worried about:

1. Damaging the doorframe (renting) 2. The bar slipping/falling mid-workout 3. Not having enough clearance (I'm 185cm)

Budget is around 30-50 Euro. Anyone have specific product recommendations or things to avoid?

Also open to wall-mounted options if they're renter-friendly (no drilling).

I've tried a bunch of these. Here's my breakdown: Best Overall: Iron Gym Xtreme (~35 Euro) - Lever design, no screws needed - Rubber padding protects frame - Multiple grip positions - Holds up to 130kg easily Avoid: Cheap telescopic bars - These are the ones that twist/extend to fit - They WILL slip eventually, especially if you're doing kipping or dynamic movements - Not worth the risk For tall people: Look for bars that mount ABOVE the frame, not inside it. This gives you more headroom. Pro tip: Put small pieces of wood or thick cardboard between the bar and doorframe. Extra protection and prevents any slipping.

+1 for the Iron Gym style bars. Been using one for 2 years in a rented flat with zero damage. One thing I'd add: check your doorframe material first. If it's hollow/cheap MDF, even the best bar might not be safe. Knock on it - solid wood sounds different from hollow composite. Also at 185cm you'll need to bend your knees for pull-ups which is actually fine and some would say better for form (prevents kipping).
